So Much For That

So much for being a faithful blogger!
I guess it's been some time since I made an entry. My dear friend Tara drew that to my attention.

Speaking of Tara, I'm watching her children right now while she's at Dead Theologian's Society (Eric's class) with her husband Daemynn. I think this is the last night in this six-week class. The next one won't start until awhile after Easter.

Speaking of church things, all is going well in that area. We just hired a part-time administrative assistant. She has been volunteering about 10 hours a week for about a month, and now she will be paid. Britney is such a blessing to us. She's been with us in ministry since she was a freshman in high school, and now she's a sophomore in college! She has a personality similar to mine (strong), so she handles Eric well. (haha) The advisory board approved her hiring last night.

Speaking of last night, the advisory board also advised Eric that he didn't need to go to Costa Rica on the mission trip. We have about 10 people signed up to go, and he had decided he needed to...but he's not. Praise the Lord... (Thank HIM for a wise advisory board!)

Speaking of trips, we are foregoing our Costa-Rica-Trip-For-Two (in the interest of finances) in favor of a trip to Cedarly Pastor's Retreat in Delafield, WI. We have applied and been accepted to go the week of my birthday (July 31-Aug 5). Praying for a place for the children to stay.

Speaking of the children staying somewhere, we're also fortunate enough to go to the Willow Creek Arts Conference in June! The children will hopefully be staying with a family from church. It's a four-day conference, and since I'm a student (for now), I get to go for about half price! Cool! Dave (our worship music pastor) and Eric & I are going. Britney reserved our spots today. We just have to find a reasonable hotel now.

Speaking of hotels, yes, Mom & Dad Frazier, we're still figuring out when we can get down there to see Katie's babies!

Speaking of babies, I can hardly believe Aidan is swiftly headed for AGE THREE. Here's hoping I can get him potty trained sometime soon. So far, absolutely NO progress in that area.

Speaking of progress, Holland's dance recital is May 21 at 7 p.m. She's a fantastic little dancer! The tickets are $11 each (for the 2 1/2 hour show) and if anyone wants to go, let me know. I have to buy them by March 31.

Speaking of school, (actually, I wasn't, but I wanted to keep up with the theme.) we're considering putting Braden in Kaleidoscope Charter School in Rogers next year. Please pray that we can make a wise decision in that area. He's a bright kid, but I'm the first to admit that I'm not a great teacher. Actually, I pretty much stink at it....with the time I have to invest in it so far. This has been a tough year in the homeschooling area. Mostly just getting it done. And Braden & I not killing each other in the process. We're trying to balance our desire for control of his training and upbringing with our schedule and his needs.

Speaking of needs, the six children in the basement need my attention.
